Frame size guide

Besides style you may want to look at a frame’s specific measurements to decide if a particular frame fits. Frame measurements can be found under the ‘Additional attributes’ tab for each product. The following measurements are listed.

Bridge length

The bridge size is the smallest horizontal distance between the lenses. This is why a 15 mm bridge measurement for an acetate frame and a metal frame with adjustable nose pads can feel vastly different: the rim material is included in this measurement.

Frame width

Measured horizontally across the entire front of the frame. Any lug or hinge pieces that stick out on the sides is included in the measurement.

Lens height

The lens measured vertically, at its tallest point.

Lens width

The lens measured horizontally, at its widest point.

Temple length

Measured from the hinge, where the arm connects to the front, past the bend down around the ear to the bottom tip.
